Bug Description

Unity8 shows a black screen without cursor after installing and choosing unity8-desktop-session at login.
I got so far as to blindly typing ctrl+alt+f1 and logging in thru the terminal and after that doing a startx. That brings up the desktop icons, but the windows are without borders and everything else referring to the desktop ui is non-existent.
