I've only just discovered the long swipe from the left to get to the apps scope. I feel like an idiot but it turns out it's quite hard to find out about or discover accidentally.
Even the Unity8 tutorial fails to show this feature to the user. You can get through the tutorial using only a short swipe from the left to show the launcher. The long swipe remains a somewhat hidden feature. |

We've included one more instructional overlay in the Edge education tutorial that teaches the user how to long swipe from the left to access the Today Scope.
