Bug Description

Using Unity8 (8.02+15.04.20150409.1-0ubuntu1) on a desktop from this image http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-desktop-next/backup-20150422/

Apps (terminal, messaging and others) have no keyboard auto-repeat. This makes keyboard navigation and backspace slow and cumbersome.
