this occurred on a swiping away the greeter, it didn't complete it sort of just froze/hung during the darkening animation.
however to be completely fair I had just installed the qtmir-andrioid and qtdeclarative5-qtmir-plugin from the jenkins build from
https://code.launchpad.net/~gerboland/qtmir/acquire-wakelock/+merge/245942

i don't know that it would have anything to do with this or not.

I don't know how it can get into such a state. Need more info than just the stack trace.
If errors.ubuntu.com could at least provide stderr output I could stuff some state information into the qFatal() message.
