Bug Description

When a user is in a call and manually turns the screen off, Android will continue showing their dialer app, but when the call ends, the phone will be locked.

I think users might expect that same behavior.

Either we can queue the lock until the call ends or we can lock in the background and keep showing the dialer-app in the meantime.

I'm now thinking of how this will work. It will be difficult to transition between the user session and the greeter while still managing the call. We'd be switching both users and Mir sessions...

seems like mterry's comment is back in the good ol' split greeter days.
iirc, recent discussions were that we wouldn't "lock" in the case of a phone call. the screen would only go on/off with the powerkey (off with timeout as well) to prevent inadvertent input.

My comments about this being difficult are rooted in split-greeter thinking. But the feature itself is still possibly useful -- to queue up a lock after a user intentionally turns off phone. That's what android does (or did anyway, haven't checked lately).
