Ubuntu Store Download Error, install failed.

When using the unity8 next preview ISO the Ubuntu Store failes to download new apps.

I have logged into my Ubuntu One account, and can get as far as to fully download the app (download goes to 100%) but when it moves to the install step, I get the following erre:

Download Error
Download or install failed. Please try again.

I've tried many times and many apps, still no good.

I'm using a Lenovo laptop with OS Ununtu 14.10, non system image.

Yes, click packages are not yet supported on the desktop. This functionality is scheduled for release some time in 2015.

I can confirm this is still happening on Xenial.

This is fixed by installing packagekit-plugin-click. Should this be added as a dependency of unity8-desktop-session?

Yes, installing packagekit-plugin-click works for me. Now I am able to install for example uNav on amd64.

This is now fixed (requires stable-phone-overlay PPA on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS).
