Bug Description

The Unity 8 Desktop Preview always renders with a scaling factor of 1.

The Unity 8 SDK has a global scaling factor called GRID_UNIT_PX that expresses how many pixels to a pica (one twelfth of an inch) for variying size of an inch.

The gsettings com.ubuntu.user-interface.scale-factor contains a list of per-monitor scale settings expressed in GRID_PX_UNITS that could be used for this so that the Unity 8 scaling could match the Unity 7 scaling, assuming a suitable algorithm could be chosen to choose a monitor to use for the global setting.
