Bug Description

Title says it all. Only a tiny cellphone-session in the upper left corner.

( Why even provide a X11 version at all? )

The Unity8 dekstop preview shell on X11 acts like a phone because that's the default form factor for the current incarnation of Unity8.

At this point in the development lifecycle of Unity, there is no window manager functionality built in, because a phone does not need a window manager (all applications run fullscreen using cooperative multitasking, like a 1980s-era Macintosh).

This tiny form factor could be fixed by providing a window manager in the session: patches are welcome. Until then, the X11 package is still useful for testing apps in the phone form factor on the desktop, with having an actual device.
