Bug Description

This is not a bug as such, but an important usability issue. Many users not acquainted with Ubuntu's application names have the situation quite often, that they would like to look through the list of all installed apps in order to find something. You open Dash, switch to the appropriate tab, see the list of apps - however, the 3px wide scrollbar found here is very very awkward to use. Many people do not have a mouse wheel, so I would suggest offering a better solution here.

- either by implementing the standard scrolling in Ubuntu 12.04 with the small "handle" popping up
- or by making the scrollbar wider

- and last but not least: I'd personally make a very small area left and right of the scrollbar click-insensitive. It happens very often with me that I try to catch the scrollbar but I click a pixel too far and the whole Dash disappears.

I'm pretty sure you mean Unity, not the shell "dash"

affects: dash (Ubuntu) → unity (Ubuntu)
