After using spread minimized windows open blank

Bug Description

test case:
Open 2 different windows, like nautilus & a terminal, minimize both
Go to spread, (Super+W
Pick one window
Open the remaining minimized window by clicking on launcher icon or choosing in alt-tab switcher
It opens blank

Noting there are other variations to cause & this also affects unity-5.12 from proposed

I'm going to undupe for the moment but can't re-mark as new. I somewhat mistakenly marked as invalid without fully exploring why it isn't an issue here.

I believe & can duplicate at will that this is caused by the animations plugin, With it enabled then bug as described.

With it disabled then it no longer occurs, any min'ed window restored after spread is fine
(can supply short vid's demonstrating with & without the animations plugin enabled

The reason here for having it disabled is believe it can lead to an 'out of the blue' performance breakdown, often seen by a break in smooth scrolling in gedit, nautilus, ect. & other area's

Spread is done by the "scale" plugin, which is part of compiz-core.
