Bug Description

I've been using Unity a few hours. I'm getting really frustrated.

Here's what I don't understand: The distinction between programs and instances is fundamental to using a desktop PC effectively, and yet unity makes an assumption that I'll only ever have one instance of an application open, or at best it looks like multiple-windows have been grudgingly bolted on to Unity.

There are three very simple things that need to be done to fix this:

* ungroup the windows
* display the window titles in the taskbar
* allow moving the taskbar to a long edge of the screen so that window titles are readable

Thank you for your suggestion. However, the changes you are requesting aren't really a bug and require more discussion, which should be done on an appropriate mailing list or forum. http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community/mailinglists might be a good start for determining which mailing list to use.
