Dash - the text in range filters is micro-sized

The text in the Dash range filters is far to small. Look at the "Size" filter in the file lens, or the "Decade" filter in the music lens. The text inside these filters is far too small; it should be the same size as the text in the other filters.

See attached design "video_lens_v1-2_2.png" for details of exactly how the text inside the range filters should appear.

Fixing this bug will not change any strings or functionality, and therefore should be non-controversial to fix in a SRU

I think this is because the translation of these filters didn't fit in some languages. So if the text is made bigger, you should make sure the buttons get bigger too, so the text doesn't get truncated like it was before.

Yann, do we need to really translate 1MB or other size to different languages? How different is MB in other languages? I apologise if this is a ridiculous question.

Yes it is, thaks for asking. Gigabyte is "gigaoctet" in French, so GB is translated to Go.
But you can see the translation can still be too long in the attached screenshot, as the French translators use the binary prefix (kibi instad of kilo), so the filter "100 kio" doesn't fit.

In the Music lens, the decade filters now fit, but they needed to translate them to "60s", which is understandable in the context, but not something any French would write or say. We don't say "the sixties" but something like "the '60' years". It was previously translated correctly ("années 60" if I remember correctly), so every filter only displayed "…".

Setting back to "New", John the issue there is that with the normal text size the strings wouldn't fit in the ui

@seb128; I have attached design "video_lens_v1-2_2.png" to the bug that shows how the correct size text can fit into the available space. I think the issue is with padding or technical text layout issues, it is not a fundamental problem with the design.

@John, in the files lens the string "100MB" will never fit in the ui. Can you provide a mockup for the file lens too? :D

In the mockup the buttons have different widths. And our code does not support that atm.

@andyrock; yes, that would be needed to fix this bug, I can't see any other way around this problem
