Workspace transparent panel dark

The top panel becomes dark from transparent(Set to 0.2) when using workspaces
How to reproduce:
1.Using ccsm set panel opacity to transparent(I set it to 0.2)
2.Open any application and maximise it
3.Click on workspace button and try moving it to a different workspace
4. The top panel will become dark

What should happen:
The top panel should still be transparent
