Bug Description

The lengtyh of the strings shown in the unity help overlay (hold down the super/windows key) is restricted, but this is not clear to translators. On my screen (1400x900) the restrictions appear as follows:

The shortcut column: 22 characters
The explanation column: 42 characters

As far as I can tell all these translations are located in plugins/unityshell/src/unityshell.cpp.

It would be nice if
1) The size of the overlay would automatically adapt to the length of the longest strings.

or, easier
2) If a comment for translators could be placed in the pot files at relevant strings. For example:
#Translators: the translations must not exceed 22/42 characters, or they will be truncated
