Bug Description
Unity 5.8.0-0ubuntu1
Did an apt-get dist-upgrade this morning (2012-03-26) and rebooted (in a dock w/monitor). Login greeter appears as normal, but on login the screen was blank, and on the laptop screen (expected it on the external montitor).
Unity-2D works (running that now), Xorg.0.log.old is the relevant file - I'll attach it if it's not already there. It had:
[ 592.542] (EE) intel(0): [DRI2] DRI2SwapInterval: bad drawable
[ 592.542] (EE) intel(0): [DRI2] DRI2SwapBuffers: bad drawable
many times.
I tried killing Xorg and logging in again - same deal. Also tried removing laptop from the dock but got the same black screen with mouse pointer. Unity 2D worked fine.
