Bug Description

With the latest updates as of today there is severe flickering in the Unity interface when for example revealing the launcher or any lens or hovering over the top panel.

I know I am using a 3.3 kernel due to specific hardware requirements (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/898784), but Unity worked fine prior to today with the same kernel.
