compiz crashed with SIGSEGV in unity::hud::HudIconTextureSource::ColorForIcon()

This happened when i tried to unlock the laptop after it was auto-locked. Gave the right password and logged in the first attempt. Tried pressing Alt+Tab to see the running applications and compiz crashed.
