Bug Description

using ubuntu 11.10;

I am using remapped arrow keys (using xmodmap).
The mapping is :
CapsLock -> Mode Switch
h - left, l - right, j - down, k - up
Which means pressing [capslock] and [j] together
gives me the same functionality as pressing [down] arrow key.

However in unity dash, this doesnt seem to work.
I am unable to navigate through the options listed by dash
using my remapped arrow keys.

For example in dash, typing "fir" and
by pressing some [down] arrows i can reach firefox.
The same is not possible with my remapped keys.

thank you
:)

I have the same problem. I want to use my Xmodmapped arrow keys (Alt+j, k, l, i) in my OS but it wont work in Dash and workspace switcher. But it verywell works in unity launcher and all the Xwindows. Also when I use java applications like IntelliJ IDEA, the xmodmap keys wont work. Please help.
Thanks
