Global, panel, and right click menus sometimes appear "invisible" until hovered over in Ubuntu 12.04 Beta 1

When I click one of the icons in the unity top panel it seems to cause a bug where it slows down the opening of menus and in some cases most often on right clicks menu shows up "invisible". You can see the border of the menu but you have to hover the mouse over the rest of the menu it to make it appear. Happens most often with the global menus, panel menus, and right clicks in web browser (firefox, chrome) Ubuntu 12.04 Beta 1 btw.
