Bug Description

(Not sure unity is the right package, reassign as appropriate. Maybe it's x11-xkb-utils, or gnome-control-center.)

I've been using right-alt as Compose for many years. It's an optimal location for it; I don't want to give up Compose (it's very useful for me) and I don't want to invest the time to learn a different key. I'm happy if the HUD is only accessible via left-alt.

If I don't assign Compose to ralt, tapping right-alt does nothing (it doesn't bring up the HUD either). If I do assign Compose to ralt, tapping right-alt does nothing either (it neither brings up the HUD, or activates Compose).

If I don't assign Compose to ralt, holding right-alt performs the normal alt function (for example, alt-f on most apps brings up the menu). If I do assign Compose to ralt, holding right-alt doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Hi,

I don't know what fixed it, but I did a system update yesterday and my ralt is now working properly.

Thanks!
