app (geeqie) missing from alt-tab switcher

I just started (on current precise) the geeqie image viewer, by finding it in the app lens. It started up and I was looking through a folder of scans. I flipped to a browser window and then pressed alt-tab to go back to geeqie, and was surprised to see it wasn't in the alt-tab switcher.

I could switch back to it by clicking its 'running app' icon in the launcher, and after that it does show up in the alt-tab switcher.
