Bug Description
Hi,
I just experienced another problem of unity.
I was writing an email with thunderbird. Thunderbird opens a new window for the message to be written. I had this new window in non-fullscreen (i.e. regular) mode. Then I wanted to use the option message delivery notification from the menu.
However, whenever I moved the mouse to the top bar, were unity puts the menues into, the writing window became inactive and the menu vanished. No way to use the menu except putting the window in fullscreen mode to stay active while using the menu.
I usually prefer the follow-mouse focus mode. I am not sure whether I've chosen that mode for unity or whether this was the default after installation. However, putting the menu into the top bar does not work for windows not in full-screen-mode and not at the top border, because you have to leave the window in order to reach the menu, while making the window inactive and thus destroy the menu at the same time. It's more than just annoying if you have to move a window to the top or make it fullscreen just to use a menu...
