Bug Description

If you have an application with two windows, such as virtmanager, clicking the (x) to close one of those windows triggers all of its windows to dissappear from the display. The other window is still available on the taskbar and can be reopened, but it should not have dissappeared.

This can be trivially reproduced using any web browser too.

Thank you for your bug report, does it happen all the time? Is that specific to some configs (use of multiscreen or something?). I can't confirm here, maybe you could do a small screencast showing the issue? What do you call "unmapped", are those minimized? Do you use unity-3d or 2d?

Ahh, I have miss interpreted the visual clues. You also need a full screen window of some sort, in my case terminator. With terminator full screen behind two chromium windows, closing one of them raises the terminator window to the front obscuring my previously visible application windows.

summary: - closing one window of a multi-window application unmaps the other
+ closing one window of a multi-window application triggers a raise of a
+ full screen window behind hiding the other windows of the current
+ application
