Dash - Search uses last incremental results when executing

Bug Description

1) Ubuntu Release: 11.10
2) Package Version: 4.24.0-0ubuntu2b1

3) I expect to be able to search for "<search_term>[Return]" and have the dash execute the most relevant search result for the full <search_term>.

4) While inputing a search term into the respective field, dash will display results incrementally. Hitting the return key will execute or open the first result from the last incremental search instead of the search results for the full term. This results in unexpected, annoying and counterproductive behavior.

For example, I can search for "Synaptic[Return]" which results in one of the following, depending on if the last incremental search was performed on "", "S" or "Sy" respectively:
 - Gedit opens with the last edited document
 - Simple Scan opens
 - System Monitor opens

What will not happen, is that the Synaptic Package Manager will open, even though "Synaptic" is specific enough to result into only a single suitable match.
