Bug Description

The physical format of the Dash (windowed or full screen) should be stateful across sessions. For example if a user makes their Dash full screen, the next time they open the dash after re-booting their computer it should be displayed full screen.

This bug is also intended to cover filter format state e.g. which filters are expanded and collapsed. However the filter selections themselves e.g. the options you have selected should *not* be stateful across sessions.

This is not an issue on my current Oneiric install. Dash does indeed remember its state on reboot/re-login.

All settings are now remembered even filters ?

if so, great, but also needs a more proper desc/title.

No Manny not as far as I know, and that's not even in the description for this bug. I filled another one for that https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/939285 I believe it was mistakenly marked a dup of this one. If it is a dup than the description needs to updated to reflect that.

@John I might be little confused is this bug also supposed to also cover the case for the filters?

Well i see that the filters are not remembered yet (for example "apps available for download" still appear when i restart or logout and back in) or when i set filters to show is not remembered either.

As far as remembering the dash size (windowed or full screen), that is working, so i guess this bug is only about that.
