Bug Description
'Apps available for download' section in Application lens in completely useless for most of users. Those who want to find new apps will do it in software centre. So there is no need to replicate the same functionality here.
It should be removed completely. Or at least given an option to disable.

This would break design. Could you explain why this is needed, and have a discussion about this, probably on the Ayatana mailing list?
