Bug Description

Sometimes the menu bars of windows become unclickable (the click goes right through them instead of clicking the things on the menu bar). This only happens with windows that are not maximized. It's reproducible with xCHM by hiding all windows (CTRL+ALT+D) and then recovering xCHM.

This bug could cause a lot of frustration for users, because the clicks go to areas they're not supposed to go and possibly change things unintentionally.

I can confirm this bug.

Steps to reproduce:
0) Start with a clean desktop: no open windows.
1) Open a new window. Don't maximize it.
2) Hide the window with <super> + D
3) Show the window with alt+tab
4) Try dragging the window by clicking the title bar;

Attached a screenshot that illustrates the behavior. Current active application is xchm (see global menu) but when trying to close the xchm window, the 'affects me too' link is activated.
