Unity indicator menus disappear right after appearing when you click on them

Bug Description

Bug described in the summary occurred four times so far. If I recall correctly it was after setting up twin view for projector. You can still select entries from applet menus if you hold the mouse button after clicking and release it only after hovering over an entry.

I also have a multimonitor setup (left primary external display, right laptop display) and can see this bug only on my primary display indicator menus.

The bug is reproducible: all you need is to boot your PC with TwinView setup (still have to check if it applies to simply enabling TwinView without a reboot). I do not know if this happens on other video cards but nVidia (with proprietary drivers). After disabling the secondary monitor panel behavior becomes normal.
