Bug Description

After one of recent updates thunderbird lost it's title bar and I can't switch to it's window once started. Unity launchbar shows that it's running and alt-tab switcher does too but after selecting it nothing happens.

I get the following WARN in .xsession-errors:
glib <unknown>:0 Failed to fetch boolean: Method "IsUrgent" with signature "" on interface "org.ayatana.bamf.view" doesn't exist

I forgot to mention that it doesn't happen all the time. After fresh boot or unity --replace everything is fine for some time but when it breaks it stays broken till unity is replaced.

Confirmed that this same behavior occures in 12.04 LTS. The following behavior has been observed:

After login, open thunderbird. After some period of usage, thunderbird will no longer appear in the alt-tab window switcher. In order to get the icon to re-appear you must run "unity --replace", as stated above. Since having found the above work around I've yet to have the icon disappear on me again (roughtly 30 minutes). If I can come up with any repoducable steps I will post and update.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, we can’t work out how to recreate this bug from your description. Please describe the process you go through to trigger this bug and then change the bug status to NEW. See this page for more information: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BigDesktopBugScrub

Could someone who runs Thunderbird for long periods of time confirm whether or not this bug still occurs?
