Can't see the "close, minimize, and maximize" buttons on windows sometimes...

I am using the firefox browser and I can't see the minimize, maximize and close buttons on the window. I have attached the screenshot.

I am using Ubuntu 11.10 in virtual box and I have installed all the updates.

You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and

please ignore my last comment. this bug is already known and is being looked into. though your screenshot I believe does not show the actual problem. see bug 861143
