Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 BETA 2 including all updates.

I have firefox configured to open tabs and windows of the previous session. When I start firefox it restores all tabs and windows, but MAXIMIZED Windows are not handled correctly by Unity. Once I resize one of those maximized firefox windows it has no windows decorations.

This is annoying. In my opinion Unity behaves much better now in 11.10 than it did in 11.04, but it still has so many problems with such very basic functionality. It's frustrating.

FWIW, I did a fresh install of 11.10 BETA 2 just to be sure I don't have any old broken configurations lying around.

I should add that only those maximized windows are affected, which where restored on firefox startup. Once I open a new firefox windows for the already running firefox session it has all window decorations. So this bug is only about those restored maximized windows. Hope this makes it somewhat more understandable ;-)

summary: - Firefox constantly looses window decoration when using Unity
+ Firefox looses window decoration on startup with Unity
