Bug Description

Neil W. Kitzmiller wrote a paper letter to Canonical in London reporting an issue with the launcher:

  I have noticed that while there is great innovation in the new Unity
  Desktop Environment, sometimes graphically there are bugs with the
  dock along the left and additional graphic errors when waking from
  sleep mode. Thankfully, these bugs vanish after clicking in the dock
  area.

Mr Kitzmiller doesn't give us an email address or LP account so I'll be sending him an Oneiric CD once we've released Ubuntu 11.10.

According to the letter, and I can confirm that, too sometimes graphical glitches and artifacts appear in the launcher and the panel.

Today I put a copy of 11.10 in the post for Neil which we hope will fix his issue :) Graphical issues I noticed in 11.04 are fixed in 11.10 so closing the bug unless we hear otherwise from Neil.
