Bug Description

While running through http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Hardware/Sound/Headphones, I clicked the volume slider in the volume control applet to raise the volume. The slider didn't move to the point where I clicked; instead, it slid up to 100%, which is literally painfully loud.
Clicking to the left of the slider causes the slider to move down to 0%.
