Bug Description

I've noticed that after doing a search for applications in the dash, all results are returned in English instead of in the current locale.

In fact not all. I've seen:

* Applications with translations in the .desktop file (e.g. Firefox) - shown localized (these are just a few)
* Applications with translations with .desktop file translations coming from language packs - shown in English (these are the majority of results shown)
* Applications to install - shown localized.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but I'm running Unity 2D, as Unity 3D does not run on this laptop.

This is a regression from Natty, in which all results were localized.

seb128 confirmed that the bug is mostly fixed with the new langpack upload.

There may still be an issue in how the package database is queried. so I will restrict that to this part only.

Hmm, correction: that last part was already working. So it sounds like a non issue anymore. So Long and Thanks for All the Langpacks...
