Bug Description
with the grab handles it's possible to move a window off of the screen, and make it impossible to get back. compiz should make sure a couple of pixels are always showing and that a window can't be lost off the edge of the screen.

with the old gnome2 desktop, you could right click the app widget in the window list and use "move window", but this doesn't seem possible in Unity by design...
