Launcher blocks bottom left hotcorner

This is something that didn't happen in Maverick: I use the bottom left hotcorner to activate the Compiz Scale plugin, but sometimes it does not work. This seems to be caused by the Unity launcher.

It seems that this is somewhat related to the order that the plugins are loaded, because I can fix the issue (at least for the current session) if I enable and disable the hotcorner, and I can bring the issue back if I disable and enable the Unity plugin.
