unity appears over full-screen VirtualBox window after changing virtual desktop

I am running VirtualBox full-screen.

Pressing VirtualBox Menu Key and then Ctrl+Alt+Up y can change to another virtual desktop while leaving VirtualBox full screen.

Then, when I come back to the virtual desktop where VirtualBox runs, sometimes, Unity top and left menus remain over the full-screen VirtualBox window.

(Actually I have seen several other sporadic glitches with VirtualBox under Unity, as the menus becoming empty or not leaving full-screen mode correctly)
