Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

This is about the unity package as provided in the default ubuntu 11.04 install :

When using a 2 monitor setup, with the secondary monitor at the left and the primary at the right (in my case laptop screen = right, additional monitor = left) the following illogical behavior occurs:

The user needs to 'touch' the complete left of the monitor on the left (secondary monitor) with the mouse cursor to have the dock appear on the left of the primary monitor (right).

(one can also use the ubuntu logo on the top left of the primary monitor - I know, but that's not the point here)...

Suggestion:
* always move dock to leftmost monitor ?
* let dock appear when hovering mouse pointer on the left of the primary monitor ?
