Thanks for reporting this bug. However, I will need some additional information from you: what were you doing when getting this crash? Were you changing anything in ccsm when you were emptying the trash?

Did we regress? This bug says fixed in Unity 3.8.10, but a new fix is committed for Unity 6.2. What happened?

Actually this was only partially fixed. It was fixed in normal cases, but the same crashes could even happen when the gio call was not cancelled on destruction...
