ubuntu unity should show icon images, instead they are transparent or black, but functions work as normal.

Is this a new problem? Was Unity running fine before?

this is a new problem, because i had logged into unity 3d earlier there was no problem, but i did not use it much, because it was laggy, but now is works faster, and i log into unity 3d every time. this problem exists now always,

firstly i thought, that unity can't run on my fx5200, but it really rocks, works faster than unity 2d and gnome-classic.

BTW, I have 1280×1024px resolution too.
And when I had another problem with TV-out detection, I noticed that one time when it was having something about 1024x768px it showed icons. But not for bookmarked applications, only for special ones like workspace switcher.

@Daznis : someone in ayatana channel irc told me it was caused by a missing option with nouveau driver
i saw you got fx5200 so you are using nouveau driver
we can hope this missing will be implemented as soon as possible, or to wait for 173.14.xx nvidia driver wich must be updated for natty (for maverick it was 4 days before the final release)
