Bug Description
Binary package hint: unity
There seems to be some persistent bug in unity (or maybe xorg?) where the screen around the mouse pointer is not repainted properly when the windows under it change. It doesn't happen all the time but it is fairly common (20+ times per day). The affected area is a square about 1cm in size. It seems like when the mouse is moved a slightly old version of the screen is redrawn. I have not yet been able to get a screenshot of it.

Per bug 752157 I tried activating the fglrx driver, and I get a similar but much worse problem, more or less continuously.
