importance "Undecided", I hope you can't decide between Medium, High and Critical.
Because ubuntu is useless with this bug :/

I ended up reinstalling Ubuntu from the 11.04 beta, rather than updating from 10.10 as I initially did, and I see a lot fewer bugs/crashes. This particular bug is one I've not experienced since the new install, as well as the bug which causes software-center to crash upon open.
@Th3Proph3t, I know it's a radical step, but if you did the upgrade from 10.10 and are experiencing lots of problems and crashes, you should do what I did and do a clean install from the beta available on ubuntu's website.
Cheers,
Rossen
