Bug Description
unity 3.6.6-0ubuntu3, Ubuntu Natty
1. Open two Firefox windows on the same workspace.
2. Switch to an empty workspace.
3. Open the Workspace Switcher.
4. Click on the Firefox item in the launcher.
5. Double-click on the Firefox item in the launcher.
6. Re-enter the Workspace Switcher, and move one of the Firefox windows to another workspace.
7. Switch to an empty workspace.
8. Open the Workspace Switcher.
9. Click on the Firefox item in the launcher.
10. Double-click on the Firefox item in the launcher.
What happens:
4. Nothing.
5. Unity switches to the workspace that the Firefox windows are on.
9. Nothing.
10. Surprisingly, Unity returns to the empty workspace.
What should happen:
4, 9. If double-clicking on something does something, single-clicking on that thing should do something, not nothing.
5, 10. The behavior of the Workspace Switcher should be consistent.
Until we've feedback from Design on how to consistently deal with these cases, I mark the unity bugs as "Incomplete". Once there's a signed-off conclusion for this, we can proceed with getting them fixed.
