please try this:

$ sudo rm /var/crash/*

after that reproduce the steps to crash unity, open the /var/crash directory and double click on the newly created .crash file and report it using the proper method to report crash report. this will be really helpful.

bug 737318 has been fixed in Natty so I think this bug is fixed too. setting to duplicate.
