Bug Description
Binary package hint: unity
If you have Firefox maximized and you move your mouse pointer to the top bar, the title disappears. (I don't know if this is the supposed behaviour).
If you don't have Firefox maximized and you move the pointer to the top bar, the title "Firefox 4.0 Beta 10 Web Browser" changes to "Firefox 4" with a gradient starting just before the "4" and all the rest of the strings disappears.
If you open Terminal and move your mouse to the Unity top menu bar it displays the word
"Terminal" with a gradient starting in "al" and then Terminal's menu bar starts.
I suppose that the top bar should only display the menu bar or at least, don't overwrite the title with the menu bar.
Thank you for your bug report. www.omgubuntu. co.uk/2011/ 01/global- menu-support- for-firefox- in-ubuntu- 11-04-gets- going/? utm_source= feedburner& utm_medium= twitter& utm_campaign= Feed%3A+ d0od+%28Omg! +Ubuntu! %29 .
The bug that the menu bar of firefox isn't shown in the top bar is known. The actual behaviour you describe is almost the good (ie the one wanted by the design team), everything is done to show the menu bar, it is just not displayed.... In the final release, the patch correcting this should be integrated, but you can test it already by following this procedure : http://
Does this resolve your problem? Else could you please post attachments with screen shots explaining the problem, and what should happen?
I set the bug status to incomplete, waiting for your answer. Please put it back to new when you post this attachments.
