Bug Description
Running natty from a usb stick to test the new unity.
I have no drop-down menus anywhere:
The top panel ubuntu menu, clock, sound and network manager icons dont have drop downs.
Normal appllication menus don't appear (though the relevant menu item shows a highlight when selected)
And in firefox, combo drop downs don't appear either.

Could you please try after startup making an empty selection on the desktop bakckground, and try it afterwards? I have the same issues, and this workaround solved the problem in all cases, so if it solves it for you, than this might be a duplicate bug.
