unity application menu is unreadable for some applications

For most applications (e.g. qbittorrent,nautilus,system monitor... but not for evolution!) the menu on the top panel from unity stays the same color of the theme in use and the menu items from the corresponding applications,though they are clickable,are invisible. (Reminds me of a well known bug with skype menus)

it seems like you were facing bug 683065 which have been confirmed fixed with latest version unity. Can you confirm?

I have similar problem. After some time menus are gone and just empty "File" menu is visible:

The original problem reported in this bug report have been fixed for more than a month in Unity.
