Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

The emacs window shows up with the generic “?” icon in the Unity lanucher, although it has the right title (GNU Emacs 23).

This seems to be because the Icon field of /usr/share/applications/emacs23.desktop specifies a full path to the icon (/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/emacs23.svg) rather than using the icon name. Replacing the Icon specification with just
"""
Icon=emacs23
"""
results in the correct icon showing up.
