this was my output, and it gave me a white screen

Thanks for trying unity and reporting this bug.

Please, do use "$ ubuntu-bug unity" to report unity bugs so that we can have all necessary infos.
For instance, in that case, what's your graphic card?

I'm cursed with the intel i450-something one that steals ram to do 3d
effects, It and clutter don't work together very well.

Thanks for taking time to report this bug. I am closing this bug since you said that you are no longer using Ubuntu and can't test if the issue is still there. if you get the chance to try natty and the issue still exist feel free to reopen this bug by setting the status to NEW
