It would be more an issue with unity/mutter, however i can't reproduce that issue anymore with last Friday's update (unity-0.2.44) and i-sound 0.4.7. As usual, re-open if the issue persists.

@cjcurran: can you investigate; it seems like focus stealing prevention but that should already be taken into account for the desktop case.

I'm not sure if this is the same bug I experience, but I'll try to describe it here in detail.

If I minimize rhythmbox window, clicking the entry in the sound menu indicator brings the window to focus as expected. However if I close the window while a song is playing, clicking the menu entry gives the following:

- the window is reopened minimized, without focus
- the launcher button space appears empty
- the launcher button does not work at all (does not give focus, or display the window in perspective if it has focus)

If I close the window again, another glitch:

- The window closes, but leaves a ghost window. Although the Alt-Tab switcher does not find the window, the window itself is otherwise functional (it's not a screenshot, rhythmbox actually works).
- If I minimize or close it using the (X-[]) buttons, it finally vanishes.

Do you think this is the same bug?

I don't know if this is related but when using Banshee, if I minimized it "disapears" to the sound menu, as it should happen.
However, if I click there, nothing happens.
I have to open banshee again from the applications menu or from the terminal to go back again to the banshee window.

Sorry, my mistake.
I forgot to enable the MPRIS plugin in Banshee.
Sorry again.
